Becoming a Generativist

I've read Generative AI and Education twice because this Springer Essential gives me valuable insight into the current state of generative artificial intelligence in education. I finished the 128 pages with the realisation that the Age of Generativism has arrived in the halls of academia but many of my fellow educators haven't appreciated its impact.

We have both the paperback copy and institutional access for this excellent book on campus to complement the coverage we give to generativism when training people from industry in the use of AI for Personal Productivity.

By the end of 2024, more than 100 people have examined the role of generativism while completing portions of the digital transformation curriculum offered by the Technological University of the Shannon. In the workplace of 2030, managers must be able to augment their staff with virtual assistants. This skill is a key performance indicator for companies hoping to digitally transform their operations.
